Hydrocarbon Degradation with
Evobac - Aerobic Bacteria

A large hydrocarbon processing company had very high levels of oil and grease in its effluent. Even after oil and grease removal by DAF, the hydrocarbon level in the effluent was still above 1000 PPM . The target was to reduce it down to 200 PPM with aerobic wastewater treatment.

Lab trials with Evobac showed the hydrocarbon levels dropping to 80 PPM . When Evobac was applied at the full-scale effluent treatment plant the hydrocarbon levels dropped down to 1 to 0 PPM .
